On the set of Another Dawn 1936

BearManor Media has released the first full-length biography of screen/stage actress Kay Francis.  Although most of Kay's films are forgotten and few released on DVD, she is well worth re-discovering for anyone who studies the cinema.  Film expert Robert Osborne reserves much enthusiasm for Kay's talent and striking appearance in the 68 films she made from 1929 - 1946.  Osborne (who wrote the foreword for Kay Francis "I Can't Wait to be Forgotten") claims "they love her at Turner Classic Movies" and it is indeed one of their missions to "keep the flame alive" for Kay Francis.
